Poutine and Water

Today I had poutine sauce poured all over my face. In my ears. And in my hair. I still smell like poutine after my 2nd shower. At the camp I work at we do a "stars of the week" type program, and each week these stars get to shower the counsellors with some new type of liquid. Last week it was pea soup with sticks, and you already know what this week was. Its gonna take me at least 3 more showers to get this out. Well at least I'm going to a waterpark tomorrow, even though I'm not looking forward to it. We are spending a day and a half there, and I will have finished all the rides and stood in all the lines by the 3rd hour. Hopefully I can catch some sleep or something while I'm there. I am seriously not in the mood to deal with people. especially people I don't know. I mean sure, a few of my friends are coming, but that just means I have to talk more. Apparently we are staying in a dorm type building, so I should be able to just stay in my room after I get all peopled out. Though depending on how the room layout is set up that may also involve staying with someone. I really wish these outings weren't mandatory. I'm going to take my 3rd shower then try to get some sleep, I've got to be up really early to get to the waterpark.

Pizza and Feelings.

Pretty uneventful day today. I went laser tagging with a few people with the group I`m in and that turned out pretty well. Essentially, no one stood a chance. I also am in the midst of an interesting conversation about what constitutes `liking` someone. So far, its a mess of the difference between liking and liking to be with, and honestly most of it makes no sense whatsoever to me. Well hopefully the 3(!) people that saw this liked it. Oh, I also realised that cuddles are amazing. Seriously, like the next best thing to my dad`s homemade pizza with a nice glass of milk.

Woohoo First Post!

Alright, so, how do I do this thing. Well, I suppose I'll start with the basics. My name is Aaron, I'm 16 years old and live in Canada. I've always loved writing, but I've never taken the time to do anything besides the assigned homework at my school. Even then, I've hated completing even that due to the tedious nature of the books and novels that we are apparently supposed to relate to. Anyways, the real reason I started this blog (Self advertisement? Who knows.) was for the purpose of showing people who I am. I have never had very good luck with the whole "social" thing, being an introvert and whatnot. I've always been the type to stay at home and read while others go to a party or something along those lines. I play the piano, I love reading, and on occasion some video games. I also love photography and tend to be afraid of the opposite gender. In this blog (which I will hopefully update daily) I will be telling you, about what happens in my life, and anything ad everything that happens to pass through my head. Some posts will be longer, like this one, whereas others will be on the short side if I have an uneventful day. I'm currently on an exchange program in a different province, and have started to notice myself slowly changing. I've been a good kid (for the most part), never done drugs, never even had a drink. Hell, the first party (with alcohol) I went to was here, and it wasn't all that everyone said it would be. Though in all fairness, if I had had a drink it probably would have been more fun. So no one to blame but myself I suppose. Though not that I wanted to. My experiences here have been quite interesting. I go to an all guys school, so I've never been forced to interact with girls, which has made for some enlightening interactions while I've been here. (On a side note,I hope to god no one who knows me googles my name and finds this.) I mean, I went from having the extent of my interaction with girls go from "Hi how's it going" to being straddled at 3 in the morning by a girl wearing a bra, panties and my sweater. So yeah, as I said, interesting. Well, I've been up for a ridiculous amount of time by now, so I'm going to sign off here and hopefully get some sleep. I've been terrible at that lately.
